A. 'eep' in V changes to 'ept' in P and PP
B. 'eed' in V changes to 'ed' in P and PP and 'eet' to 'et'
C. The pronunciation of 'ea' from /ee/ changes to /e/ and P and PP end with 'd' or 't'
D. Vowel change with 'ought' (or 'aught) ending in P and PP
E. 'ell' in V turns to 'old' in P and PP
